Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), the world's largest financial inclusion initiative, was announced by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi from the ramparts of the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 and launched by him on 28th August. The scheme was implemented across the country in the year 2014.

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY):

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is a scheme of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for providing LPG connections to women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) households. The scheme was launched on 1st May 2016 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY):

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) was launched with the aim to provide housing at an affordable price to the weaker sections of the society, lower income group people, urban poor, and rural poor. The Yojana involves a construction of around 20 million houses at an affordable price. In the Budget 2023, the outlay for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was enhanced by 66% to over Rs.79,000 crore.

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY):

To provide insurance coverage and financial support to the farmers in the event of failure of any of the notified crops as a result of natural calamities, pests & diseases. To stabilize the income of farmers to ensure their continuance in farming.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY):

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
